# Ripple vs SYNC

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: SYNC at 15.0 against Ripple's 26.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ripple sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SYNC sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
