# Falling Filter vs Halloween Prank Monster

The clearest difference is ads: Falling Filter at none against Halloween Prank Monster's shown. Falling Filter also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (4K vs 378). Halloween Prank Monster's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 14%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Falling Filter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Halloween Prank Monster sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Falling Filter holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Falling Filter has 4K ratings behind it against 378, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Falling Filter's written reviews are positive against 25% of Halloween Prank Monster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Falling Filter ships an update every 5 days, Halloween Prank Monster every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
