# SteepPilot vs Nine Steeps

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nine Steeps at every 2 days against SteepPilot's every 6 months. SteepPilot's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SteepPilot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Nine Steeps sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SteepPilot ships an update every 6 months, Nine Steeps every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
