# Steadfasting vs GymWars

The clearest difference is update cadence: GymWars at every 5 days against Steadfasting's every 6 months. GymWars also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Steadfasting sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and GymWars sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Steadfasting ships an update every 6 months, GymWars every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
