# Steadfasting vs Fasta

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fasta at every 2 weeks against Steadfasting's every 6 months. Fasta also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Steadfasting sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Fasta sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Steadfasting ships an update every 6 months, Fasta every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
