# Steadfasting vs Fasting Tracker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fasting Tracker at every 2 months against Steadfasting's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Steadfasting sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Fasting Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Steadfasting ships an update every 6 months, Fasting Tracker every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
