# Pedometer vs Stepyfocus

The clearest difference is ads: Stepyfocus at none against Pedometer's shown. Stepyfocus also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Pedometer's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pedometer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stepyfocus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pedometer ships an update weekly, Stepyfocus fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
