# Pedometer vs StepDial

The clearest difference is update cadence: StepDial at daily against Pedometer's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pedometer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and StepDial sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pedometer ships an update weekly, StepDial daily. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
