# Maduro Cigar Tracker vs Cedar

The clearest difference is rating: Maduro Cigar Tracker at 5.0 against Cedar's 4.5. Maduro Cigar Tracker also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). Cedar's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (147 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Maduro Cigar Tracker sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Cedar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Maduro Cigar Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cedar has 147 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Maduro Cigar Tracker ships an update monthly, Cedar every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
