# AGMechanic vs EquipHours

The clearest difference is update cadence: EquipHours at every 2 weeks against AGMechanic's every 6 weeks. EquipHours also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AGMechanic sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and EquipHours sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AGMechanic ships an update every 6 weeks, EquipHours every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
