# Field Recorder Pro vs RecordDeck

The clearest difference is update cadence: RecordDeck at every 2 weeks against Field Recorder Pro's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Field Recorder Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and RecordDeck sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Field Recorder Pro ships an update every 6 weeks, RecordDeck every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
