# Blob vs Formation App

The clearest difference is update cadence: Formation App at every 2 days against Blob's weekly. Formation App also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blob sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Formation App sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blob ships an update weekly, Formation App every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
