# Blob vs Foremost

The clearest difference is monetization model: Foremost at free with in-app purchases against Blob's subscription. Foremost also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Blob's advantage is ratings volume (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blob sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Foremost sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Blob against 5.0 for Foremost. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 1 respectively.

Blob ships an update weekly, Foremost every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
