# HamSat vs EOTAK Beacon

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EOTAK Beacon at none against HamSat's 1. EOTAK Beacon also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HamSat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. EOTAK Beacon asks for nothing beyond the download.
