# CrewPrep vs HangarX

The clearest difference is update cadence: CrewPrep at every 2 days against HangarX's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CrewPrep sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per month and HangarX sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CrewPrep ships an update every 2 days, HangarX every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
