# Pocket Protectors vs Hexkeep

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hexkeep at every 2 days against Pocket Protectors's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pocket Protectors sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Hexkeep sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pocket Protectors ships an update monthly, Hexkeep every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
