# Scanely vs PickUp

The clearest difference is update cadence: PickUp at every 4 days against Scanely's monthly. PickUp also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scanely sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PickUp sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scanely ships an update monthly, PickUp every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
