# passNote vs PLOPI

The clearest difference is ads: passNote at none against PLOPI's shown. PLOPI's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. passNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and PLOPI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

passNote ships an update every 5 days, PLOPI every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
