# Wallpapers vs Retro Widget

The clearest difference is ads: Retro Widget at none against Wallpapers's shown. Wallpapers's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 26.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wallpapers sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Retro Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wallpapers ships an update weekly, Retro Widget every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
