# Scanela vs Panloom

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scanela at weekly against Panloom's monthly. Scanela also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scanela sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Panloom sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $39.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
