# WildMap vs The Hunting App

The clearest difference is monetization model: The Hunting App at free against WildMap's free with in-app purchases. On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WildMap sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and The Hunting App sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $44.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WildMap ships an update every 6 days, The Hunting App every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
