# WeekWise vs Derive

The clearest difference is update cadence: Derive at every 3 days against WeekWise's every 8 days. Derive also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeekWise sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Derive sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WeekWise ships an update every 8 days, Derive every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
