# Patterns vs Room

The clearest difference is update cadence: Room at daily against Patterns's every 8 days. Patterns's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Patterns sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Room sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Patterns ships an update every 8 days, Room daily. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
