# Interval Timer vs Interval Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Interval Timer at every 3 days against Interval Timer's fortnightly. Interval Timer's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Interval Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Interval Timer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Interval Timer against 5.0 for Interval Timer. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively.

Interval Timer ships an update fortnightly, Interval Timer every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
