# Hang Tracker vs Notch

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notch at every 3 days against Hang Tracker's every 3 weeks. Hang Tracker's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hang Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Notch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hang Tracker ships an update every 3 weeks, Notch every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
