# GustVPN vs VPN Proxy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: VPN Proxy at none against GustVPN's 5. VPN Proxy also leads on ratings volume (25 vs 2). GustVPN's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GustVPN sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. VPN Proxy asks for nothing beyond the download.

GustVPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Proxy has 25 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GustVPN ships an update every 2 days, VPN Proxy every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
