# SynoSync vs HomePlot

The clearest difference is update cadence: HomePlot at daily against SynoSync's every 4 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SynoSync sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and HomePlot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SynoSync ships an update every 4 days, HomePlot daily. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
