# BlinkNote vs TV Commander

The clearest difference is update cadence: TV Commander at every 2 days against BlinkNote's fortnightly. BlinkNote's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BlinkNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and TV Commander sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BlinkNote ships an update fortnightly, TV Commander every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
