# Simmr vs TypeByte

The clearest difference is update cadence: TypeByte at every 2 days against Simmr's every 11 days. Simmr's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simmr sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and TypeByte sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
