# macro vs MacroForge

The clearest difference is update cadence: macro at daily against MacroForge's monthly. macro also leads on ratings volume (49 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. macro sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and MacroForge sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
