# StepPet vs Rabbit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rabbit at every 8 days against StepPet's every 3 weeks. StepPet's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepPet sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Rabbit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepPet ships an update every 3 weeks, Rabbit every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
