# AceNotes vs SAT & ACT Prep

The clearest difference is update cadence: SAT & ACT Prep at every 2 days against AceNotes's weekly. SAT & ACT Prep also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). AceNotes's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AceNotes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and SAT & ACT Prep sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for AceNotes against 5.0 for SAT & ACT Prep. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AceNotes has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AceNotes ships an update weekly, SAT & ACT Prep every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
