# Gravitas Studio Pro vs Nimbus8

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nimbus8 at every 2 days against Gravitas Studio Pro's every 5 weeks. Gravitas Studio Pro's advantage is iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gravitas Studio Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Nimbus8 sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gravitas Studio Pro ships an update every 5 weeks, Nimbus8 every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
