# TextJam vs Slids

The clearest difference is update cadence: Slids at every 3 days against TextJam's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TextJam sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Slids sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TextJam ships an update fortnightly, Slids every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
