# Scales vs CHOIL

The clearest difference is rating: CHOIL at 5.0 against Scales's 1.0. CHOIL also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1) and device support. On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scales sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and CHOIL sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CHOIL holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CHOIL has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
