# Chi Prism vs Trinket

The clearest difference is update cadence: Chi Prism at fortnightly against Trinket's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chi Prism sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Trinket sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chi Prism ships an update fortnightly, Trinket every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
