# Simple Journal vs Gratitude Diary Plus

The clearest difference is device support: Simple Journal at 3 against Gratitude Diary Plus's 1. Simple Journal also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Journal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Gratitude Diary Plus sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
