# Piano Pulse vs SnapNotes

The clearest difference is update cadence: SnapNotes at every 5 days against Piano Pulse's every 10 days. Piano Pulse's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Piano Pulse sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and SnapNotes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
