# Trusty vs Subtle

The clearest difference is ads: Subtle at none against Trusty's shown. Trusty's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trusty sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Subtle sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trusty ships an update every 6 days, Subtle every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
