# Airworthy vs PPL Prep

The clearest difference is ads: Airworthy at none against PPL Prep's shown. Airworthy also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). PPL Prep's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Airworthy sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and PPL Prep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Airworthy ships an update every 3 months, PPL Prep every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
