# DecisionOS vs markdown notes

The clearest difference is device support: markdown notes at 4 against DecisionOS's 2. On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DecisionOS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year and markdown notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
