# Matinee vs ProperIpTv

The clearest difference is update cadence: ProperIpTv at every 4 days against Matinee's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Matinee sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ProperIpTv sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Matinee ships an update every 3 weeks, ProperIpTv every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
