# Cesure vs Dark Ambient

The clearest difference is ads: Dark Ambient at none against Cesure's shown. Cesure's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cesure sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Dark Ambient sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cesure ships an update every 2 days, Dark Ambient every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
