# Cesure vs Open

The clearest difference is ads: Open at none against Cesure's shown. Cesure's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cesure sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Open sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cesure ships an update every 2 days, Open every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
