# Estimr vs TaskArc

The clearest difference is monetization model: Estimr at freemium against TaskArc's subscription. Estimr also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1). TaskArc's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Estimr sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and TaskArc sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TaskArc holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Estimr has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Estimr ships an update every 5 days, TaskArc every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
