# ComicMax vs Anime Tracker

The clearest difference is ads: ComicMax at none against Anime Tracker's shown. ComicMax also leads on iOS requirement (13 vs 15.1). Anime Tracker's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ComicMax sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days and Anime Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ComicMax ships an update every 3 weeks, Anime Tracker every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
