# LightYet vs WeightTrend

The clearest difference is update cadence: LightYet at every 5 days against WeightTrend's monthly. LightYet also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LightYet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and WeightTrend sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LightYet ships an update every 5 days, WeightTrend monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
