# Jotdown vs ためコピ

The clearest difference is ads: Jotdown at none against ためコピ's shown. ためコピ's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jotdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ためコピ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jotdown ships an update monthly, ためコピ every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
