# Jotdown vs LitPilot

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: LitPilot at 16.4 against Jotdown's 18. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jotdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LitPilot sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
