# Magic Water vs Wizard Sort

The clearest difference is rating: Wizard Sort at 4.9 against Magic Water's 4.3. Wizard Sort also leads on ratings volume (437 vs 3). Magic Water's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Water sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Wizard Sort sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wizard Sort holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wizard Sort has 437 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Magic Water ships an update every 3 weeks, Wizard Sort fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
